Vitis Evaluation

Your First Step... The Vitis Functional Evaluation is the first step in your care at Vitis Healthcare. We’ve designed a comprehensive evaluation based on a core panel of labwork on which a custom and inclusive treatment program is based. But here’s the great part...the Vitis Functional Evaluation is at no obligation to you!
Functional Care at No Obligation... That’s right...you can receive our Functional Evaluation through our website and then decide how you would like to proceed. If you desire to continue treatment under the care of a Vitis Physician, we’ll be happy to set up a custom plan for you. Or, if you’d rather start on a regimen of our nutritional supplements, or simply take your results to another physician that’s fine too! We offer two methods of purchasing the evaluation - the first is ordering your labs through your insurance, the second is ordering your labwork through the Vitis office at what the lab charges us.

What's Included? Your Vitis Functional Evaluation includes a comprehensive report detailing your physiologic assessment and detailed recommendations based on a core panel of labwork developed by Dr. Scott VanLue including:

  • Complete Metabolic Panel
  • Lipid Studies
  • Cardiovascular Panel
  • Cortisol & Adrenal Studies
  • Thyroid Panel
  • Hormone Panels

    • How Do I Sign Up? It's simple. If you know your insurance will cover the costs of the labwork, simply call the Vitis office at 407.862.5637 and we'll set up everything for you. If you'd rather order the labwork through our office at our discounted rate simply click on the link to the left and fill out the information on our store. After we've received your payment, you'll receive a detailed email explaining how to complete the registration process, as well as how to complete the Vitis History Questionnaire. Once this is completed, we'll send you a saliva kit in the mail, and submit a lab requisition to Quest Diagnostics Laboratory. You can go to the nearest Quest location to have your blood drawn, and complete the saliva test as soon as you are able. Once we receive your lab results, we'll send you a comprehensive report detailing all of your results and treatment recommendations by mail approximately 5 - 7 days later. That's it!

    Where Do I Go From Here? After you've completed the Vitis Evaluation and received your report, you may proceed in one of many ways. One of the primary reasons we've created our evaluation in this way is so that you have options. After you've received your results and detailed recommendations, we believe you will be able to make a more informed decision about your health, and how to best move forward. After the completion of your Vitis Evaluation you can:

        • Review the report & recommendations on your own
        • Take your report to your physician for review & treatment
        • Purchase recommended supplements from Vitis Online Store
        • Enroll in one of three treatment programs at Vitis Healthcare

    Please Note: In order to receive prescription medications from a Vitis Physician you must enroll in one of the three Vitis treatment programs. Our physicians must see you in a Vitis office at least once per year in order to legally prescribe medications.
